My daughter, Liana and I spent the day getting set up in our guest dealer space at
Haupt Antiek Market in Apple Valley, Minnesota. We were dealers at Haupt for 3-1/2 years and it's fun being back for a visit! This month's sale theme is "Signs of Spring" and it runs Thursday through Sunday, March 18-21. Haupt Antiek features monthly sales and the shop redecorates each month for a new theme! Deb and Greg Haupt are the owners, and they and the wonderful dealers there put on a fabulous sale every month. Later this week I'll take photos of some of their great displays! Everyone has their own style, so there is something for everyone! Today, I'll share some vignettes from our set-up! We still have some more items to add, more spring plants, and some lighting, too, but thought I'd share what we've been working on. Plus, in a sale like this, there is daily restocking and new set-ups, so it is constantly changing!
Linens, prints, and goodies
A galvanized top side table made with old bee boxes and a great old dress form
one of my art assemblages and a fun retro pin cushion...
An old adding machine and alabaster eggs
I love these vintage sugar and flour canisters...a charming baby cup from 1923
old suitcases
The peat pot pretties ended up being displayed in a vintage chicken feeder... best laid plans...
Until next time...
Linda
