I've been able to go to a few garage sales this week...usually I buy mostly for my vintage resale business, but this week I've had a lot of fun buying things I plan to use myself! I found the great chippy twig stand for just $1.00! It will be nice in the porch we are remodeling! At the same sale, they were selling a large lot of fabulous matelasse, including this wonderful old spread...
There was also a newer king spread, two twins, four Euro shams and three standard shams...
I was thrilled with this and bought the entire lot of old and new pieces for $20! I have some projects planned for some of the pieces, other pieces will be used in bedrooms!
I also found two white lamps (think I'll replace or re-do the shades) that will go on bedside tables...
Another great find this week was this lot of three spatterware Texas Ware bowls in a wonderful light blue color...I paid $2.00 for all three!
I can't wait to curl up in the porch and read these books I found...
I had so much fun shopping this week! Don't you just love garage sales and thrift stores?

I do love garage sales and thrift stores. I stopped at one garage sale today while I was on my way to one of my work accounts. Nothing too exciting but one chippy old oval frame for $2.00. It needs a little TLC but will make a good memo board or blackboard.

My car automatically stops at garage sales. LOL The chippy table was a nice find for $1 but the linens were a fabulous deal.
