I had a few fun thrift store finds this week, that are inspiring me for some spring decorating! This little alabaster urn is so sweet...such beautiful veining...
and it's perfect for holding this little bird's nest...
I love this old green transferware plate from Wedgwood! Damaged, but so decorative, for the touch of green I want to add to my hutch this spring!
I always love finding vintage hangers...
They make such fun displays for photos and prints...like these eggs...
Finally, there was this charming Pewter cream and sugar from Holland... so pretty!

Well, this is a yummy post. I'm enjoying how wonderful your new urn looks, and the layout of all your pictures. That textile peeking thru reminds me of the night I checked in on you and my server kept acting up whenever I tried to leave a comment. I was looking over your new guest room office, which i LOVE, when that Arts & Crafts runner at the end of the bed nearly made me cry it's so very very pretty and unusual. You keep the most distinctive things, and I really enjoy your vintage style. i like too many different things, but your collections seem so full of integrity to your taste.
ReplyDeleteHi Linda,
ReplyDeleteThe urn does have great lines in it and the nest looks great in it.
