More From The Bachman's Spring 2011 Ideas House...
Tuesday, April 19, 2011
Time to continue the tour of the Bachman's Spring 2011 Ideas House! Today I'll share ideas from the sunroom, living room, and the scrapbooking room! Be sure to click on the photos to enlarge them, if you want more details! The old baby buggy in the photo above is in the plant filled sun room.
Vintage papers are clipped on a lampshade frame...
I'd love to have a chippy old sink like this one...
A vintage tabletop and two chairs become a desk!
The living room is loaded with decorative ideas...
An old window is turned into a coffee table...
This chandelier was retrofitted with votive holders and candles... I'd love this in a porch!
This secretary looks so charming~ the door panels are covered in cork for a great use of space!
An old suitcase becomes a side table with storage...
and a filing cabinet becomes a great side table with the addition of legs, too!
The large wall is filled with great old frames...
Going up the stairs, old metal grates look so great holding photos...
and vintage jewelry is made into magnets to hold them in place~
The next room is called the scrapbooking room...who wouldn't want this fun studio? I love the work table! Made from an old door, topped with glass, it has porch posts for legs!
Cork is added to salvaged window frames for an oh-so-decorative bulletin board...
An old radiator cover works perfectly as a magnetic wall calendar, and lunchboxes, painted pink make great wall storage!
Vintage suitcases always make great storage, especially re-used as this one is!
A vintage potting bench is decorated for great storage display...
Finally, how about this valance idea? Strips of two tones of pink fabric is looped and knotted loosely over the rod!
Hope you are enjoying the tour! The next Bachman's post will be the three fun bedrooms!
Until next time...
Linda
