I recently joined my first art swap! It was hosted by Michele of Something Special and was called The Vintage Petite Jar Spring Swap! We used small sized 8 oz. jars, altered them with a spring theme and filled them with vintage ephemera! Thought I'd share the jar I sent to my swap partner. I lined the jar interior with sheet music and topped the lid with burlap. Bird and bee images from The Graphics Fairy were mounted onto cardstock, backed with sheet music, and added to a nest I filled with eggs and moss.
The leaves are vintage velvet millinery pieces.
I added an old rhinestone to the bee's back and...
adorned the bird with a little crown I made from an old glittered Christmas light reflector, and some little gems for a necklace.
Vintage game letters spelled it out...
It was so much fun participating! I hope my partner will enjoy it and I'll share the jar I receive when it arrives! Thank you, Michele for hosting the swap!
I am joining The Graphics Fairy for Brag Monday
Until next time...Wishing you a blessed Easter...
