Fun Thrift Store Finds...

Garage sales have been a little slow around here right now, but I stopped in at a thrift store this week, and found some fun goodies!  Look at these great chippy wooden croquet balls! They are in my Itsy Bits And Pieces etsy shop  now, if you are looking for some! The sticks will be fun for projects, too!

I also found an old whisk broom...

and some vintage hangers.

Game pieces are never passed by...

and this huge jar is going to be used for storage in my studio!

Have you had any fun finds this week?

Until next time...

  6. Those are some fun finds Linda. I have been itching to go to some garage sales lately but they all seem to be ones with tons of baby clothes and junk (not the good kind of junk). Hoping to hit some good ones this weekend.

  16. Croquet sets just say summer to me. The wood balls would look great in a bowl on a coffee table. I'm sure they won't last long at all!

  17. Love the croquet set, Linda! What a fun find:) I think the hangers are my favorite, love 'em! I went thrifting the other day, and found a bunch of "gaudy gold" Homco frames, and some neat vintage candle sconces. I've already painted them Heirloom White, and will distress them tomorrow! Have a great weekend!

  29. Great finds! I looked at an old croquet set in the antique shop this week but it cost a small fortune. I consoled myself by buying another old brownie camera but this one had the flash attachment which was a happy bonus.

  31. I actually ventured to
    Lake & Lyndale to a
    vintage clothing store
    and scored some things
    for my husband to wear
    to a Downton Abbey party
    that we are invited to!
I also hit GW a couple of
    times with my mama, who
    scours the racks for wool
    sweaters that can be felted
    and used to make purses
    and pillows. She scored
big time here in MN, this
    week!

    Have a great weekend,
    sweet friend!
