Hope you all had a wonderful weekend! I spent some time on a FUN antiquing trip with my daughter as we are beginning to prepare in earnest for Junk Bonanza ,which is coming up in a short 3-1/2 weeks! On the home front, I decided it was time to change-up the hutch! I enjoyed the spring hutch so much, with all of the green and yellow...but daffodils in August is pushing it! I have been looking towards fall more and more right now and the hutch was calling out to me for something new...
Lots of stoneware, baskets, wood and silverplate...
I found this antique basket at an estate sale not long ago...
love the braided handle...
An altered peat pot holds old clothespins...
such beautiful patina on the wood!
You might recognize many of my fun finds and projects gathered here.
I collect engraved silverware...hotel silver, and others...
Another collection is antique cow prints...I used one here...
of course, one of my old scales had to be included, too!
Milk glass, stoneware, transferware, lace, and wood all have their special places here...
This beautiful bowl holds long dried hydrangea...love the faded, pale tones...
The oak leaf decoration is wonderful for the season...
The tea leaf plate I recently found, partners with a teapot which was my mother-in-law's...
and a salt glaze jug shares the space with brown and white transferware, and rooster salt and pepper shakers!
I love the faded colors of this beautiful old book.
I'm not missing those daffodils too much!
Until next time...
My gosh- You certainly have lots of treasures! I love the patina on those old clothespins. How many times were they grabbed to peg clothes onto the line? I also love your tea pattern plate. Soo many sweet finds!!!! xo Diana

I can see you and I have very similar taste. I love everything in your cupboard. And, the handle on that old basket is gorgeous. I've made baskets before and that looks like it'd be really difficult to make.
