A Little Spring Beauty...

Spring has finally arrived here...after a long winter...and with the very severe weather in other areas of the country, I am especially appreciative this year of the green growth and the beautiful blossoms.  Our apple trees are in full bloom...

as are the lilacs...

I love the way the flowers look in a blue glass jar...
such beautiful colors!

The little old white bench is a recent garage sale find.  I love the styling and it's a perfect small size for display...

and stacking it on top of the little primitive brown bench gives it nice heightThe wonderful scent of flowers fills the room...

Until next time...

  20. Hi Linda! I love this look. Your blossoms and blooms are so pretty. I can't imagine having to wait so long for them. I love warm weather so much and already feel like it takes a long time to get here. Blue jars and little vintage benches. So classic! Seems I can never turn one down. Have a great weekend!

  21. Very pretty in the jar on the rustic benches. I love the lilacs. Our trees are still leafing out here.

  22. The blossoms are lovely, funny how a long difficult winter will cause us to appreciate blossoms, green grass and warm sunshine almost like it's the first time we've experienced it!
    Your benches are very sweet.

  24. that's so strange...my apple trees and lilacs don't bloom at the same time. the apple trees bloomed weeks ago while the lilacs are just now coming out.
