The sunporch is one area of our home always ready for the Fourth of July! The space lends itself well to a rustic Americana style. Thought I'd share one of the side table vignettes...
I love the flags all year round...
and this rusty old marshmallow tin is perfect to me...
as is this little vintage tin litho globe.
Old game boxes are pure art...
And an old soda bottle makes a great holder for a little flag!
I love spending time each day out in the porch...
Until next time...wishing you a wonderful Fourth of July holiday!
Happy 4th of July to you! I'm inspired by you today. I need to get back to blogging, I miss it so. That darn FB takes up so much time.

ReplyDeleteLinda i love your decor. It really reminds me of a good ol counrty living magazine, the way they used to be. Especially the summer issues were always my favorite because of summer cabin and porch stylings.

ReplyDeleteYou think of the best ways to use your vintage finds! I've got a funeral basket that I've been trying to use somewhere in the house and would never have thought to fill it with a bouquet of flags! Love the tin, too.
ReplyDeleteHappy 4th Linda!
You always put together such great groups of items. Love all the flags and that globe too! Hope you have a good 4th :)

ReplyDeleteVery fun decor, Linda, I love it! The game boxes, the bottle and the globe make for a very nice atmosphere, don't they. And the flags are beautiful of course!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Cindy
Americana makes me happy. Wish that marshmallows still came in tins. Those bags are nasty and marshmallows are so melty and together it makes an awful mess.
ReplyDeleteNow I feel the need to find an old marshmallow tin! Love your festive display - here's to sitting on the porch!
ReplyDeleteKelly
LOVE it all!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd we had the
same exact Perquackey
game box, growing up: )
Hope you had a
wonderful 4th of July
and weekend!
xo Suzanne
So adorable! Forgot all about Perquacky. I think we had that game when I was a kid. I'm lobbying for a screened porch. Hope I can talk the Mister into it. Mimi
