Around this time of year, I am always so ready for spring! I've been bringing in some green...the combination of spring green and aqua is a favorite right now...
I painted wood eggs with aqua paint and made markings with a sharpie and a stain marker...then painted lightly over them again, to soften the spots ...
I downloaded this cute image from The Graphics Fairy
Isn't this a charming image? I love the 3-D look...it's on my Pinterest Easter board
I spotted the first Robin of the season this week in our backyard, so warm weather shouldn't be too far behind! Hope you are having some springtime where you live!
Until next time...
LInda very pretty. I love the greens and aqua too. Love the nest with your painted eggs.

ReplyDeleteLove all that you do! The robin's eggs are so cute. We saw our first robin a couple of weeks ago. Everyone is so ready for spring this year! Mimi
ReplyDeleteThose robin eggs look so authentic, great painting job. It's interesting that you posted on green and aqua because I've just now started experimenting with aqua. Funny but it's a color I've never used in my décor before, but it seems to be popular down here. Your vignettes always looks so layered and interesting Linda. I hope it warms up over there. :)
ReplyDeleteIt looks springlike in your home, Linda. Your decoration is lovely. I especially adore the bunny, the pig, the quilt and of course the watering can.

ReplyDeleteSo pretty, Linda! I will have to print out that cute little pot of chicks! Thanks for sharing. Can you tell me what a stain marker is?
ReplyDeleteHi Christy! It's a touch-up stain marker for scratches, etc. It's like a paint pen, but stain. I use some made by Minwax. You can find them in the paint and stain area at hardware stores. They come in many different shades and I use them for many things...especially for covering scratches quickly!
Deleteah...spring is sprung at your home :) Love the bunny! Thanks for sharing about the eggs. I hope it will feel like spring this weekend.
ReplyDeletewarmly,
deb
