National Tartan Day...
Sunday, April 6, 2014
April 6th is National Tartan Day, a celebration of Scottish Heritage! Being of Scottish heritage myself, I thought I'd share a few of my Scottish and tartan-inspired goodies...
darn! if I had known sooner, I could have worn plaid today! I'm a little bit Scottish too - so happy day to you Linda! and you have the cutest tartan treasures!
Well, dang, I had no idea that today was National Tartan Day! I will have to put that on my calendar for next year so I can get out all my Scottish stuff!!! TFS! Love your goodies, too!
I really really love your collection!! My Scottish gran was a great one for tartains and l used to love looking through her treasures. I have a wool scarf with my ancestors' tartain. Pam xx
I am Scottish through and through, something I just found out recently while doing some genealogy! I didn't know that the 6th was National Tartan Day, so thanks for letting me know, and I love all of your wonderful Scottish pieces!
Love your Scottish Collectibles! I used to be quite enamored with Mary Queen of Scots when I was in high school - I read everything I could find on her and loved that movie with Vanessa Redgrave and Glenda Jackson.
I never heard of this day! One of my BF's is Scottish and I do not recall her mentioning this. What great collectibles you have Linda. The scottie dog is adorable.
Linda, thanks for sharing your tartan treasures. I let National Tartan Day slip by this year. I'm going to add a few of your images to my Tartan Love board on Pinterest. Thanks for sharing.
