Happy St. Patrick's Day! One of my favorite ways to celebrate St. Patrick's Day (or any day) is with a cup of tea! I love this pretty cup...a gift from a sweet friend...
I used my favorite Irish Breakfast Tea with a little honey...
I love it with shortbread...these are ginger-lemon...
I'm a fan of Walker's Scottish shortbread...and recently they came out with three gluten-free varieties...shortbread, ginger-lemon, and chocolate chip. I am in my happy place!
Wish you could join me for a cup of tea!
(These are not sponsors, just sharing things I love!)
I am joining~
Until next time...
Good morning Linda. I love a good cup of hot tea too. I have never seen that brand before. I also never met a cookie I didn't like, and I live to have a shortbread cookie with tea too. I like to dunk!
ReplyDeleteHappy St Pats!

I would love to join you for a cup of tea, Linda! Barry's irish breakfast is my favorite too and I love shortbread as well. Happy St. Patrick's Day!

ReplyDeleteI always enjoy whatever you share, Linda. This one just makes me "feel good"!
ReplyDeleteWalker's shortbread was one of my dad's favorites (he was Scottish) if there wasn't any homemade shortbread around. My mom rarely made it, so one year for Christmas, one of his gifts from me was homemade shortbread with little chocolate chips in it. He loved it. Love your pretty mug!
ReplyDeleteLove Walker's shortbread! Sounds like you had a good afternoon.

ReplyDeleteHi Linda, Happy St. Paddy's Day! Love your pretty mug and those cookies do look good! Lots of goodies in the shop, too! xo Karen
ReplyDeleteHi Linda, boy, isn't it wonderful how a day like St. Patrick's, along with sunshine, can energize the soul? It makes a cup of tea and a treat even that much better when you reflect back on the day, doesn't it? We had such beautiful weather here in WV yesterday, and today looks just as promising. I love shortbread cookies (TFS Walker's new ones) and I am totally in love with those ivory dominoes. Your finds are ones I would have a hard time rotating into the sell pile, lol.

I love a good cup of tea too! I agree it is nice to ponder the day with tea!
ReplyDeleteSounds delicious! We didn't have anymore Irish Breakfast Tea...so we opted for some Chocolate Mint :) Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteI love shortbread cookies and a good cup of tea, and drinking tea out of a pretty cup makes it a lot more special. Thanks Linda for sharing at Vintage Inspiration Party.
ReplyDeleteThat breakfast tea looks good! I haven't had hot tea in a long time. I love those Walker cookies too.
ReplyDeleteWe've had Barry's tea :) Those biscuits sound and look lovely and such a pretty cup too.
ReplyDeleteI'll be trying out some gluten free baking and cooking when Olivia comes home for Easter.... have you seen this website? (this is all new too me!) http://glutenfreeonashoestring.com
