Today we're going to head upstairs...
grab a cup of coffee...it's a bit of a long post!
We'll start with the master bedroom...
One bedroom was used as a yoga room. There was a fountain and soft music...such a relaxing space...
The guestroom was charming...
I love this window treatment...
There are two bathrooms...here's a photo from the lower...
and here's a few ideas from the upstairs bath...
The last room in the upper level was my favorite this time...it's called the Backroads USA Lounge...
These old license plates make a fun valance...
Oversized pushpins mark the spot...
Fun, huh? Hope you enjoyed the tour!
Before I go, I'll leave you with a few shots from the outdoors...

I lost count, think I pinned 5 from this, and I do believe the Route 66 is from Donna at Funky Junk's stencil collection.
ReplyDeleteFun!
DeleteThanks again, Linda, for sharing this tour of the Bachman house. I enjoy it every year!
ReplyDeleteThere are way too many creative ideas for me to pick one favourite, I love it all.
Gosh, Linda, there are really so many good ideas in this house, and to think they do this 3x/yr - wow. I love the yoga room, and the way they used the corrugated steel on the bathroom mirror and over the entry door. That dresser in the guest BR is to die for (pretty much everything in that room). From Pt 1, I love what they did with the DR side table, esp how they draped the runners. Really, really nice. Thanks for the tours!
ReplyDeleteThanks once again for being the tour guide!!! Love that bike above the bed and the Route 66 room was awesome!
ReplyDeleteToo many good idea to pick a fave, but I do love that route 66 lampshade and the corrugated mirror frame! The rain boots all in a row are just too cute! Thanks for the tour! xo K
ReplyDeleteOkay ~ that yoga room is fabulous. I am going to show this to my sister-in-law. She is going to love it!!!

I don't know quite to make of this piece. Some thingd I absolutely loved. and others, I wouldn't have touched with a ten foot bargepole. but I don't understand why. any ideas?

We all like different things lol!
DeleteThanks for another fun tour Linda. I love the Backroads USA room especially the unique wall with the Route 66 stencil and the hanging pictures. Also love the group of lanterns hung from the ceiling.
ReplyDeleteHave to say this tour isn't my favorite, but still lots of great ideas here, and some beautiful blooms! Always enjoy your Bachman posts. Thanks Linda. Hope you're feeling better and better.
ReplyDeleteUpstairs is my favorite this time! The Master bedroom-- "navy" is on my checklist right now, with gray and galvanized...
ReplyDeletethe guest bedroom and the bonus sitting area "BACKROADS USA" (americana) ... ALL big on my list right now!
Enjoyed seeing the tour of the Bachman House-- thanks Linda!
You know, sometimes I love EVERY bit of the tour and sometimes it is just okay. This one is "just okay" to me. Not trying to be mean but it doesn't appeal to me the way the previous ones did. Still it is cool to see it all-and is probably more impressive in person than in pictures. xo Diana
ReplyDeleteI love that you Minnesota girls post the Bachman house! Always so many great ideas. I loved the bike painted above the bed. And the travel room. Your pictures are great. Thanks for sharing

This house is so fun to tour. There were so many unique ideas displayed here. Using the old license plates as a valance was a first for me to see. The old bike hanging on the wall reminded me of the Fixer Upper show. Now, I'm going to go check out the part 1 of the tour!
ReplyDeleteLinda, I always enjoy "tagging along" with you to the Bachman house. Lots of ideas and lovely photos! Hugs, Dianne
ReplyDeleteLinda I always enjoy your posts on the Bachman house! I always walk away with some new idea. This time it's the yoga room. I loooove the little touches that add a sense of peacefulness to the room. The fountain and green plants and a meaningful quote are ideas I'd love to incorporate into my own meditation space....
ReplyDeletehugs,
Leslie
I got some project ideas here! Love the dresser paint job and the license plate valance! Fun!
ReplyDeleteSo awesome. I love that bike over the bed how super cute is that. Thanks for the tour Linda.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week end.
Kris
Much to love here and get inspiration from. A yoga room! Then maybe I'd look at the Yoga dvd I bought so I could practice at home ;) I will do it!
ReplyDeleteI love the step ladder, the bike wheel with the inspirational cards, the chest of drawers, the license plate valance and the funky coloured wellingtons!
Thank you again for sharing :)
