I finally had a chance to visit the Spring 2015 Bachman's Ideas House! If this is your first time on the tour...a little background...Bachman's is a well known floral, home and garden business in the Twin Cities area of Minnesota. Three times a year they hold a seasonal ideas house in what was once a 1920's era Bachman family home, on their flagship property in Minneapolis. They feature new product sold in their stores, as well as some vintage and repurposed items. Their talented designers
transform the house each season!
The theme this time is Spring Revival- "seasonal and spiritual renewal" through "a love of life and connection with the living world" and the colors are vibrant with lots of greenery.
I'll start today's part of the tour with the front porch...enjoy the photos! You can click on any photo for a closer look
and feel free to pin any to Pinterest!
We'll enter the house...
and head into the living room/sunroom area...
Here's the sunroom...
Here are some of the pretty dining room ideas...
Pretty, isn't it? Last part of the tour today is from the kitchen...
I hope you've enjoyed this part of the tour! Next time we'll head upstairs! If you'd like to see more of the Bachmans Ideas House tours, I have a link at the top of my blog for posts from all of the previous houses since 2010.
Until next time...
Love seeing this house. So many amazing ideas!!
ReplyDeleteLots of plants displayed in glass jars and terrariums! Thanks for the tour!
ReplyDeleteWhat a delightful tour--this is the kind of place I love to get lost in!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for posting these. I live in East Bethel and work full-time. I love their idea house, but rarely fit it in my schedule!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I barely made it myself this time...only a couple of days before closing!
DeleteLove their tours! Pinning away!

WOW! What inspiration. That would really get you started on Spring decorating, wouldn't it?

You know I live vicariously through your visits to the Bachmann house! Love the DR chandelier shades. Will have to get my daughter in Mnpls. to check them out for me. Is that AstroTurf above the FP?!?!?!
ReplyDeleteIt's wrapped in sheet moss!
DeleteI so look forward to your Bachman's posts. I rarely visit a place like this is person, so your photos are really treats.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! I love the color combinations in this house.
ReplyDeleteAh . . . now it REALLY IS SPRING. Thanks, lady!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I can't believe all the creative flower displays. Love it all.
ReplyDeleteLovely tour and eye candy!
ReplyDeleteFabulous tour...so many wonderful ideas!

Except for a few interesting ideas, I thought it was overall uninspiring. The room with the fireplace looked like just too much stuff - it could have used some paring down. That seemed to be the theme - too many ideas - most uninspired - and all crammed together hoping to make it look better than what it is. I hope we are allowed to critique instead of just cheering these photos whether we like the content or not.
ReplyDeleteNo worries...thanks for your comment! Everyone will have their own likes and dislikes. One thing to remember...this is also a showcase of products they sell in their retail store...and everything in the house is for sale, too...
DeleteMy favorite time of the year!!! Love the moss above the fireplace! Never would have thought of that, but now I find the need to run to the store to buy me some moss :)
ReplyDeleteI love the kitchen! The herb planter box in the window is such a neat idea. And I also love the aqua wire chandy! Thanks for sharing, Linda:)
ReplyDeleteI pinned the bird art, I like that idea on the tin, and the green art wall if pretty nice looking too.
ReplyDeleteLove it - so many great ideas! I love the sunporch and that table made out of a chicken feeder? Not sure what it is, but I know I really like it! The photo in the lantern is very sweet. Always have to come back several times to these posts....thanks for sharing! xo K
ReplyDeleteLove the pops of pink and green everywhere. Such creative ideas! I am on the way to part two of your tour. Thanks for sharing this with us Linda!
ReplyDeleteBig Texas Hugs,
Susan and Bentley
I actually ordered that turquoise birdcage light for my daughter's room and was kind of devastated when it came and it was WAY too big for the space. :( I still haven't found a light I like as well as that one!
ReplyDeleteLove seeing the tour, as always, thanks for showcasing it for us!
ReplyDeleteThat porch is absolutely dreamy...
I like seeing the touches of galvanized tin art... very garden spring like!
I always enjoy these tours via your photos. What fun to visit this place!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful post! So much inspiration.... I especially loved the terrariums (something I am planning on trying soon) and that welcoming and cosy front porch and the framed picture of the sweet pug. Thank you for sharing :)
