It's been awhile since I've shared some fun finds! I didn't get out as much this summer, but I did manage to find a few treasures! We stopped by a sale out in the country that had lots of vintage goodies at garage sale prices (my favorite kind of sale)...
and found some pretty pieces...
I've never seen a piece quite like this lucky horseshoe runner...
This shabby old antique box is pure cottage romance...
There were bits and pieces of jewelry and lace, too.
At a thrift store, I found this pretty hammered silverplate pitcher...
and this newer wood piece...
There were also fun grab bags of thread...
I also had a fun etsy find! Aren't these the sweetest little sheep?
They are from CedarPondWoolCraft etsy shop. Kathryn makes them from wool from her sheep...
She sent me this lovely notecard of her sheep, too...
You can find the Wee Little Sheep in Kathryn's etsy shop...and she has a blog, too. She also sells felted balls
and hand spun, hand dyed yarns.
And look what is coming soon...
Treasure hunting is always a wonderful way to spend a day...
have you had some fun finds to share lately?
I am joining~
Until next time...
You found some wonderful things, Linda. LOVE those cute little sheep, too. That old box is a beauty! xo Diana

Your vintage table runner is quite a find, Linda! And the sheep, too cute! I can't resist tiny treasures and those sheep are darling. Your floral box and old lace are nice touches for a bedroom!
ReplyDeleteI had my garage sale on Saturday, the hottest and most humid day of the year, so now I know how you felt when you held yours in the heat! Have a great day! It's blue skies and cool temps today, just the way I like it. :o)
Love the runner. The sheep are cute too! No treasure hunting lately, just haven't had the time.
ReplyDeleteNo big plans for the day... lots of R & R...

Thank-you very much for adding my Wee Little Sheep to your list of finds. Yesterday I spent quite a bit of time bathing one of the sheep who's wool contributes to their crafting. We're going to the State Fair and Goth ( my ram ) needs to be clean for his admiring public. This is the time of year I begin to get excited all over again for the possibilities wool offers in so many crafts and art and your post has added even more.
ReplyDeleteThose sheep are absolutely adorable! That table runner is very unique and interesting. Great finds!
