Since we are in a real cold spell here (-15 right now), I thought I'd share some more fun INDOOR winter decorating ideas and simple projects! I've been inspired by all of the pompoms
I've seen this year and made a few to add to our home...
No one is safe from my pompoms...
I used wool roving yarn for a furry look...you can make them in minutes...there's lots of ideas on Pinterest.
I've added little vintage birds...
and snowpeople...
I took this covered jar...
added some faux snow and a vintage winter photo...
and glued it (with E-6000 glue),
to this tarnished silverplate candlestick...
I love how it looks.
It can be changed out for different seasons and occasions...
Another super simple project used this...
I simply wrapped the jute around
the upside-down can a few times and knotted it...
and they worked well holding my LED candles in the window...
I love re-using things I have on hand for simple decorating!
I have a fun Pinterest board of my projects...
hope you'll stop by sometime!
I am joining~
Until next time...
Loving the pom-poms - so fun!
ReplyDeleteWhat cute ideas - I never really 'decorated' my house for winter, I would just leave up a few of the greens from Christmas and use richer colors than in spring/Summer - but I LOVE these ideas!! Now my brain is spinning, thinking of ideas!!
ReplyDeleteVery cute the pompoms!!!!
ReplyDeleteI love the candlesticks and the photo snow globe. What a great idea! I have been looking for old ice skates but being in GA and TN you can't find them. Any ideas of where I may look on line?
ReplyDeleteI love seeing what you do Linda... sweet inspiration!

I can't believe that I've never learned how to make pom Pomspom because I think they're so cute. I bought my mom a white fluffy pom pom wreath from Joanns Craft store for Christmas and I remember thinking "I could probably make this"... Now I definitely will. :)
