We've had a lot of rain here lately, but I still managed to get to a few yard sales and visited a couple of thrift stores, too! Since I've retired from selling, I am pickier about what I am buying...but there are always a few treasures with my name on them!
I love finding wonderful old linens...
I found a pretty transferware sugar bowl and
a couple of chopping boards...
I love the remnants of old advertising...
I found some lovely old bottles and buttons...
A couple of angels and a jewelry casket went home with me, too.
And you know I love a beautiful basket!
This big one has such a wonderful shape...
An old tin litho tray caught my eye...it is actually
a very deep blue-black color...
This old vase is Japanese and is about a foot high...
Finally...I found some vintage wooden utensils...
Such a fun way to spend a day!
I'm looking forward to hearing about
some of your treasures this week!
Until next time...
I did not realize that you are not going to sell treasures anymore!! Are you having a "SALE"??? I think my house would be A LOT neater/cleaner and less of a mess if I stopped selling...hmmm...

ReplyDeleteI love almost all of your lovely items! I was recently at an antiques fair and picked up a picnic basket with lids on either side, similar in colour to your basket. Can't wait for summer and warmer weather to use it! Love that towel with the crocheted edging, that's really beautiful and I'm coveting that delightful little sugar bowl as well! Have a great week.
