This past week we brought in our boat, lift, and docks at the lake, and we are doing a lot of fall leaf cleanup now, too. Every year, preparing for winter
puts me into full fall nesting mode! Are you like that?
It makes me get my cozy on...and I'm energized to create! I've been doing some crafting, re-doing some pieces that I'll be using soon for Christmas decorating, and I've been cooking more comfort foods, and baking.

I love to bake bread and have been trying easy artisan breads!
Last week I received the Sassafras Bread Dome
from The Grommet and couldn't wait to try it!
It is made of Superstone, natural stoneware, and with its covered lid it becomes a bread oven, in your oven...with even baking and a beautiful crispy crust! I am a gluten free baker, with the challenges that come with that, and I appreciated how easy it is to use, and the crispy, rather than tough, crust.
I am always experimenting, and this is fun!
I have a few other items on my wish list for fall baking...
The Kilner Butter Churner uses heavy cream, and in ten minutes, makes fresh butter, with leftover buttermilk, too! I would love to make Cinnamon-Maple flavored butter!
And they have beautiful Hand Turned Rolling Pins from Vermont Rolling Pins...

Your bread looks so yummy, Linda! I like to bake bread too but I've never baked it in any kind of bowl or pot yet. I should try that. The butter churner seems like a great kitchen utensil too.
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful bread! I haven't made bread in a long time. Arthritis in my hands. Might have to look into finding a way to bake some bread because nothing beats that homemade taste!

Thank you, Brenda! Check into artisan breads...they mix in minutes and no kneading. There are lots of recipes on Pinterest.
DeleteI have arthritis, too, so I look for easy!
I the bread baker looks really interesting. I am gluten free too, but I am currently not eating any bread at all. Maybe when I get the unwanted pounds off I will check it out. xo Laura
