On my last post I shared some of our neutral fall decor.
But now it's October...and it won't be long till Halloween!
But now it's October...and it won't be long till Halloween!
Around here it's time for some fun (and a little spooky) decorating!

Today I'm going to share some of the indoor decorating I've been doing! I've brought out some of my goodies and added some fun new pieces from Oriental Trading's fun line of Halloween Decorations! Our entryway mantel is done in black and white...pumpkins, bats...and the spooky Gauze Garland String Lights!
I love the creepy look of the gauze...
And in the porch the spooky fun continues...
I was inspired by this colorful Halloween Tabletop Wood Sign...
The Glittered Spider Table Runner looks so great on the table!
I used a white runner under it to show off the pattern even more.
I used a tarnished silver tray to hold the fun and
oh-so-creepy Skeleton Hand Plastic Cups!
I used my garden bust with a witch hat...
and some Pick Your Poison Beverage Napkins!
I found a little toy piano at the thrift store this week
and added it to the mix with some old clocks.
A big black book is topped with a pumpkin and more skeleton hand cups...
And to really set the mood...a wonderful lace Halloween Lampshade Topper!
It can be used on a lampshade, mantel, or as a window valance.
I used it around the base of our chandelier.
Spooky, creepy fun!
I love the skeletons and bats pattern.
And when the sun begins to set, a few candles bring a whole new glow...
Cheers!
The mantel is transformed with the purple red lights in the gauze garland
and the orange lights we put in the overhead chandelier!
Trick-or-Treaters love the look when we open the door...
So much fun! Next time, I'll share our front porch decor for Halloween!
I am a Brand Ambassador for Oriental Trading and received some fun products shown in this post! It's always fun shopping in their Halloween Headquarters!
All opinions are my own.
Until next time...
Love all your decorations but I am in love with your tiny piano!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Marie! Isn't that adorable?
DeleteFun décor for Halloween. I too love that little piano.
ReplyDeleteWow - the decoration is fabulous! THANKS
ReplyDeleteThank you, Mary! I have a lot of fun creating it!
DeleteSuch cute decorations! Love the black gauze on the mantel and the lamp shade topper. Everything looks soooo spooky :o xx K
ReplyDeleteHow fun, Linda! That piano is really cute. I wish we had trick or treaters here, but I think our street is too dark for them.

This is fantastic! I haven't decorated my house for Halloween since my kids were little. You have a real talent for integrating Halloween decor in with antiques. I wouldn't know where to start! Love the look of the purple lights behind the black gauze.
ReplyDeleteYou are so clever creating all these amazing decorations Linda! I love how you use so many vintage pieces to such good effect....very inspiring! xox
ReplyDeleteLinda you look ready for a party! The tablescape looks great, so spooky-chic with all your clever details. I used to use gray spray paint on my cheesecloth and then tear it and hang it overhead. Your black cheesecloth with the purple lights looks wonderful, especially at night.
ReplyDeleteI happen to love gauze for Halloween decorating, and name your poison is a favorite saying!
ReplyDeleteSo much fun at your house :)
ReplyDeleteI love the gauze, especially lit up with that wicked pink light. Awesome! Those hand glass holders made me smile!!!!
