I always love finding farmhouse style pieces when I'm at the thrift store!
This week I found some pretty things!
Beautiful linens are always on my list...
and this lovely long runner has such pretty crocheted lace!

I picked up an old washboard for a couple of dollars. When I found it, the wood was covered with an 80's country style cross stitch...use your imagination. When I pulled the stitchery out, I found it was hiding cracked wood.
I love the look of the metal with the old wood.
I can replace the wood piece when I find something suitable, but for now,
I found a label download on The Graphics Fairy...
printed it out and affixed it with double face tape. Quick and easy!

Look at these wonderful gathering/sorting baskets...$1 each!
I do love vintage baskets...
And I found a wood tote, too!
(It was a good week!)
Love the handle detail.
I also found a nice bundle of wheat! This stuff is expensive, so finding it at the thrift store is a nice find! I just put the bundle in a galvanized flower bucket.
Have you had some fun finds this week?
I'd love to hear about them!
Until next time...
Wow, what great finds! Love what you did with the old wash board. We don't have thrift stores with great stuff here.

Score!!! I want to go thrifting with you, sister, LOL
ReplyDeleteLinda, You did get some great finds. I loved the last look with the boots. That looks like harvest time. Blessings to you, xoxo, Susie
ReplyDeleteLove all your finds and what a lovely fall vignette they made!
ReplyDeletedon't you love it when all the finds sort of play off of each other? love them all, and what a wonderful fix for the old wash board!
ReplyDeleteHi Linda,
ReplyDeleteWow you scored some pretty things. Love that old washboard and the label fix. Looks fabulous. Have a great Friday and wonderful weekend.
xoxo

Genius fix for your washboard! Love the graphic. Love that lacy linen piece too. My heart always skips a beat when I spy a pretty old linen like that one. Well done!
ReplyDeleteYes, Linda, you did find some pretty things! Love the natural look of this sweet vignette with the wheat, baskets, tote and that wonderful vintage washboard. It does look well-loved! The ladder, bench and linen cloth are beautiful, too. I have been trying to stay out of the thrifts lately, as I'm going to a flea market soon :), but I couldn't resist a little spice tin on Etsy! Hope you are doing well and enjoying the last of these beautiful October days! Hugs xo Karen
ReplyDeleteFantastic finds!! I can't believe the good stuff you find and for such low prices, too! Our Veteran's thrift store has a new manager and she prices things like they're in an art museum. I think the word "thrift" should be her clue for pricing. I would have grabbed those gathering baskets, too!
ReplyDeleteI'm always drawn to that type of crocheted edging on linens- so pretty!
Thanks for sharing and have a great weekend!

You found some great scores...
ReplyDeleteFantastic finds, I especially like the runner but it is difficult to choose. I was also lucky this week, found a couple of old enamel pots with lovely flowers painted on them, perfect for planters.

Cute. I love vintage linens too. Yours is lovely.
ReplyDeleteThis was farmhouse heaven! I love it all! You're not kidding about the cost of that wheat -- I just finally broke down and bought some after Hobby Lobby had it on sale for 50% off:) I'm hoping to do a post about decorating with it but we'll see if I get to it before fall is over - ha! xo Kathleen|Our Hopeful Home
ReplyDeleteGreat finds Linda! Hope I'm as lucky when I go thrifting later this week.
ReplyDeleteGreat finds indeed!
ReplyDeleteI love the ladder....and the gathering baskets. What a great name :)
