This week I've had fun making a wintry Christmas window display
on our living room picture window! It's definitely a focal point in the room,
and has a nice ledge, so I enjoy decorating it during the year.
Sophie loves her perch on the loveseat, and looking out at the squirrels and birds.
My inspiration came from this
I recently received from Wayfair. It is large and makes a whimsical wintry statement! Icy, glittery, and covered with 250 warm white LED lights, it set my path to create a Winter Wonderland Christmas Window!
I started out stacking some boards on the ledge to elevate the scene,
and covering it with quilt batting. I began adding trees, lights,
and flameless candles, along with a rusty reindeer and a little gnome.
Using a snowflake paper punch, I made lots of snowflakes
and taped them on the glass...
As the room begins to darken, the lights give a lovely glow,
along with the flocked tree.
Peaceful...
I am a member of the the Wayfair Homemakers program and received some product featured in this post...all opinions are my own.
Until next time...I'll be enjoying the pretty Christmas lighting!
Linda, I love how cozy your room seems. So nice. You did fabulous decorating the window sill. Your dog was in the pic, like she was admiring it all too. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

ReplyDeleteLinda that is just GORGEOUS! I love the little gnome guy and that snowflake in the window is so pretty! BTW, I bought a small flocked tree this year. Loving the look of it, but not loving the dog knocking into it and the snow flying :)
ReplyDeleteLinda- It looks FANTASTIC!!! That snowflake in the window is the crowning touch for me! Looks like the pupster likes being in a comfy spot and enjoys the Christmas spirit, too. lol
