I've been working on a lot of quick projects lately!
It's amazing what a little cold weather can do to make you stay inside and work!
This week I worked on a simple sign project...no artistic ability needed.
I started with a long old cabinet door panel, which I sealed over to prevent chipping. Then I gathered together old letters from my collected stash of goodies, and picked up a couple of new letters (galvanized and wood) at the
craft store, for the letters that were missing for the phrase I had selected.
I painted some in colors I wanted...and then simply glued the letters to the board.
It's definitely a simple sign project, once you gather materials.
We will be hanging this in a guest bedroom! I love how it turned out!
Well, since we have some snow today...I'll be looking for more projects to make!
Until next time...stay warm!
This is precious. I love it.
ReplyDeleteCute. I'm getting ready to do the same thing that is make a sign from collected letters. Nice to see one made up - gives me a visual on how mine will look!
ReplyDeleteI like it good job!
ReplyDeleteLove it, I think it would be fun finding all the letters.

Thank you, Ann! Letters are really fun and easy to search for...and numbers, too!
DeleteLooks great! That's a lot of letters. I did one that says ZEN. Short and simple.
ReplyDeleteThis is creative and fun. Love it Linda. Happy Friday. Have a great weekend.
