It's that time again! Ready for the Fall 2018 Bachman's Ideas House Tour?
I visited on a warm and sunny day that felt a little more like summer,
but all of the lovely fall colors, plants, and flowers reminded me it's September!
Bachman's is a long standing Minnesota home, garden, and floral business with several branches and online. Since 2010, they have have been holding seasonal ideas houses in an old family home on the flagship property to showcase their current products and fun ideas. Nearly everything in house is for sale, and 20% of the ticket price goes to charity...this time, for Second Harvest Heartland
which is in partnership with nearly 1000 food shelves and pantries,
and other food programs in western Wisconsin and Minnesota.
This time the theme is "Watercolor Harvest"!
I hope you enjoy the tour and find a little something to inspire you!
Be sure to click on the photos for a closer look,
and I would love for you to pin whatever you like!
The front porch was ready for a Halloween party...
The witch hat was made into a hanging lamp,
and a fall stem is used as the curtain tieback.
The fun black garland is made of paper honeycomb balls,
and is hung on natural tree branches!
Let's head into the house...
The bottom wall pocket is holding umbrellas...
The living room is full of fall flowers and plants,
as well as lots of textures and warm colors!
Loving the watercolor pillows...and all of the texture going on...
The adjacent sunroom is an artist's nook. This space was calling to me...
Hirshfield's provides the pretty paints and wallpapers throughout the house.
The dining room is a warm space set for entertaining...
The drinking glass served as the napkin holder, too...
A few ideas from the kitchen...
I love the archway used over the stove as a pot rack.
It's always fun to see how they use this space!
Kitchen utensils are displayed as a collection...
the wallpaper backing makes it feel special!
The little powder room uses a picket fence section
and dish towels for a window treatment.
Finally...I love the use of the drawer in this little coat nook!
Hope you enjoyed part one! Next time we'll head upstairs!
And remember...if you are looking for past Bachman's Ideas House posts,
there's a link on my navigation bar at the top of the page.
I have posts for every house since the beginning...
Until next time...
