Recently I toured the Bachman's 2019 Spring Ideas House!
After a long winter, it was so wonderful to see all the spring flowers and decor!

If this is your first time on the tour...a little background... Bachman's is a long time Twin Cities garden, floral, and home decor business. The Ideas House is held in an old family home on the flagship property and showcases their new product and plants using a little vintage and fun ideas! Their design staff works hard to totally change it up three times a year and everything in the house is for sale. 20% of the ticket price goes to a local charity... this time is Friends of the Institute~ for the Minneapolis Institute of Art. Let's get started on the tour!
The theme for this house is "Spring In Bloom" and I definitely felt like
plants and flowers were the stars of this ideas house!
Bees, butterflies, and bunnies were found everywhere, too!
We started the tour in the porch!
Black and white gingham fabric served as a great backdrop to the spring colors!
Ribbon was added around the flameless candles for a quick accent!
As I entered the house, these fun shoe metal planters caught my eye!
The living room was colorful, yet restful...
The sunroom featured a pretty dining area...I loved the bold wallpaper!
The macrame placemats added great texture...
I especially loved how the designers used these antique porch posts
and and iron fence piece as a lovely room divider!

The dining room was more formal, yet very fresh!
The kitchen is always a cozy room with creative touches!
This window organizer was used to hold bottles of oil!
I always love seeing how they use dish towels for curtains!
These planter totes were used for storage.
Hooks on the handle add double duty for pot holders.

Finally we'll visit the back hall and lower bathroom...
they are tucked away just off of the kitchen.

I hope you enjoyed part one of the tour!
Next time we'll finish up with the upstairs portion of the house!

ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! I love this post! I love all of them. I can't decide which table I like the best. I've really been thinking about using black and white gingham in my kitchen and at Christmas. I liked the blue tablescape too.
ReplyDeleteSuch a great inspiration house every year, I love it when you share. Wish I had that porch:) xo Kathleen
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing these Bachman house tours with them - I always love seeing them!
ReplyDeleteOops - with US, not them. ;-)
ReplyDeleteThis is the first time I've been introduced to the Bachman house tour - thank you Linda! I can see why you go every year. There are SO many great ideas featured I bet you leave on inspiration overload. It's definitely hard to pick a favourite, but I did love the macrame placemat!!
ReplyDeleteThank you! It always is a fun time...and lots of inspiration! Going through my photos helps me see things I didn't notice while I was there!
DeleteI thoroughly enjoy going through the Bachman’s home. I am fortunate to have personally known some of the Bachman family as a young child. I got to visit there in the 1960s. It’s fun for me to “walk down memory lane”! Thank you for posting these photos. It is helpful to see things I may have missed while strolling through their home.
DeleteI always love taking the tour with you. It's all so fresh and pretty, LOVE the floral pillows and curtains!
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing tour. I never been to the Bachman house. Thanks for taking me through it. I love the kitchen with the bicycle and the flowers on the ceiling.
ReplyDeleteThat “room” is actually the 4-season front porch. The Bachman House is so awesome!
