Fun Thrift Store Finds

Well, it's been quite awhile since I shared some fun thrift store finds with you...so today's the day! I'm not buying as much right now, with our move...but sometimes something just has your name on it!  I know you understand.

Fun Thrift Store Finds- Itsy Bits And Pieces

This piece reminded me of an old fishing basket or creel...but I think it is a basket purse.  What do you think?

I love the wood top and base, rope handles, and leather trim.
It is hanging in our entryway now.

This beautiful old crock called to me...I love the lighter glaze color at the base. It will be beautiful, full of sunflowers!

How about this amazing alarm clock?  The color and deco styling are so different, this one had to go home with me.

Also, this plaid thermos was a fun find...and perfect for our little sunporch.

And finally...the find that stopped me in my tracks.
This vintage red and white quilt!  Long on my hunting list, I couldn't believe my eyes when I spotted in on the shelf.  Right now I have draped it on a guest room bed, but I can't wait to do a little red and white Christmas decorating with it!

  9. I can't believe what you find in thrift shops. That quilt is amazing! And I'm especially loving the alarm clock, too. I've only been in one thrift shop lately - popped in with a friend at her urging, but we didn't find anything. Otherwise, I haven't been in a thrift shop in ages. I'm purposely staying out because there is absolutely nothing I need. We've been purging like crazy in our basement so I'm working hard at not bringing more stuff into the house!
