Fun Fall Thrift Store Finds

It's been a busy week here at Itsy Bits And Pieces with lots of family fun going on...a trip to the apple orchard and a granddaughter's birthday party!  I managed to get in a trip to the thrift store, too.  It's always fun to find seasonal goodies on the shelves!  Today I have a few fun fall thrift store finds to share with you!

I found this great amber glass candy jar...perfect for holding my stash of candy corn!  Are you a candy corn lover?  Seems like people love it or hate it.  I love it...and buy extra in the fall, so I can sneak a piece or two all year round.

I found another candy/nut jar, too...I am loving the squirrel!

This next find really isn't limited to fall, but I love the chippy golden color of this big chalk dog...

And finally, my favorite find of the day! A lovely photo...hand-colored in oils...of birches on Lake Superior! The colors are beautiful!

There's an old remnant of the label left, too. I was able to look it up and find the photographer's name was M (Milford) J Humphrey.

    I’d say you did pretty good with your thrift store shopping Linda, I love that squirrel dish!! So unique. And the vintage painting too, I always wonder about the personal story when I find a person’s name behind a painting. Hope your granddaughters birthday was fun.
