The theme this time is "Autumn Harvest".
They have used traditional autumn colors with neutrals and rich blue.

If this is your first time visiting a tour...Bachman's is a long standing Minnesota home, garden, and floral business with several branches and online. Since 2010, they have have been holding seasonal ideas houses in an old family home on the flagship property to showcase their current products and fun ideas. Nearly everything in house is for sale, and 20% of the ticket price goes to charity...this time, for Urban Ventures in Minneapolis...an organization using education and outreach programs to answer the question "How do you build a city without poverty?"
Let's head into the front porch! It was a very wet and cloudy day when we visited, and the house was shadowed and cozy...but I've tried to get some nice photos of decor ideas for you! The autumn colors are even richer against the blue color!
The ceiling was covered in lighted grapevine. I love all of the color and texture in this ideas house! And there were many vintage furniture pieces used, too!
I love the way tobacco baskets were used as art backdrops!
Heading indoors...
These next two areas are opposite the door on the sides of the main stairway...
fun display ideas!

Rustic trays for storage...
The living room is always a cozy spot!
Love this vintage apparel rack...re-used for storage and display!
The living room flows into the adjoining sunroom...
Let's go back across the entryway and check out the dining room...
I love the use of two floral bouquets...one at each side of the centerpiece.
Faux candlelight creates a cozy feeling in the rooms!
I always love the charming, cozy kitchen!
This is actually a wall mounted jewelry stand...works perfect for small pots!
This pot rack is an antique curtain rod!
And this magazine rack is a re-used wine rack!
We'll finish up the lower level with the powder room, and the little hallway leading to it. The hallway features a little pantry area...
I love the ladles used as candleholders...
The little powder room had burlap walls and curtain.
I look forward to your trip to Bachman's each year. totally love the ceiling with the lighted grapevine and so many wonderful pieces of vintage furniture. It's always a treat to see your visit!!
ReplyDeleteThank you Linda for taking me along. I love that place. The enclosed porch is awesome. There's something so cozy about looking thru the mini blinds into the porch.
ReplyDeleteAlso loving those copper pots. :):) Blessings , xoxo, Susie
Hi Linda,
ReplyDeleteI look forward to these posts. Bachman's never disappoint with the decor. Ohhhhh I want that white chippy cabinet. How sweet is that?!! Have a great start to the new week.
Hugs,
Kris
Such a fun place. The ladles as candleholders is clever. Many nice pieces decorate this spot. Like the basket chandelier.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week

ReplyDeleteThank you, Gail! I always see more ideas as I look at the photos!
DeleteIs it just me or is this an especially good open house this year? I see tons of things I like. That craftsman style living room is fantastic even looking beyond the decorations.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend, Linda. xo Diana
The fireplace was my fav, and I'm not sure how I feel about the ceiling with the lights.
