The snow is nearly gone here, and the lake is opening up! I have even spotted some of my daylilies emerging! It definitely feels like spring is near! I'm hoping you are all well. With so much social distancing going on, I'm happy we can keep in touch online!
Today I am happy to be joining a new blog hop...A Lifestyle of Love! We will feature a new theme each time...with vintage, antiques, farmhouse, and repurposed!

A BIG thank you to our oh-so-creative hostess Cindy of County Road 407 for starting this fun hop, and putting it all together for us! I am so happy to be joining in!
If you are here from Let's Add Sprinkles, welcome!
I know you enjoyed Katie's old crock love!
Vintage crocks and stoneware are definitely on my treasure hunting list!
I especially love the lighter colors, but collect some of the dark colors, too!
Recently I started decorating for spring, and of course my crocks made their way in!
I love gathering them together in a simple spring vignette...so lovely.
I love the different color tones...
My largest crock is a five gallon. I love the old stoneware jug, too!
Here's another stoneware pot with a little crock.
Sometimes I decorate plain crocks, which are plentiful finds for me and fun to use for crafting. On this little one, I used inkjet waterslide decal paper (if you ever try these, be sure to seal your image with spray sealer before soaking in water) and a printable from The Graphics Fairy.
I have also made some reproduction marmalade crocks using stamps.
I always mark them on the base as a reproduction.
I love the old English marmalade jars, and have two of them.
One was a gift, the other a long awaited recent thrift store find!
Another recent thrifting find was this little French tea jar!
And I even use a French mustard crock to hold dishwashing utensils!

Hi Linda,
ReplyDeleteYou know how I adore your collection of crocks. This post made me swoon. Lavender in crocks, in my word. You know how I love lavender.
Beautiful my dear friend!! I am determined more than ever to find some, lavender will be used.
Have a wonderful weekend!
Cindy
Love seeing the pretty lavender in crocks. So pretty. Nothing better than decorating with old vintage crocks. Happy Weekend.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Kris
You have so many lovely vintage pieces! I love crocks. I used to have more than one. And at one time I had a very large one. Yes, it's so good we can still socialize online.

LInda such beautiful crocks my friend🙋🏼♀️
ReplyDeleteDang it! I never find anything as fabulous as your crocks around here. I love them all! Your reproductions are fantastic as well. Now I'm in the mood for a road trip just so I can find some more stoneware! Thanks so much for joining us. I feel these are going to be big hits! Pinned. :)
ReplyDeleteThese are all so much fun! I've never seen such a pretty collection. For all the times I've been looking for crocks I never realized there were two different colors ha ha. I'll definitely be keeping my eye out now. Love your marmalade jars too. I have one and it's such a treasure. Hope you're having a great weekend! Hugs, CoCo
ReplyDeleteWow! Love your crocks! So beautiful...
ReplyDeleteTitti
I love them all.
ReplyDeleteI guess I need to add crocks to my list of things I look for at vintage markets.
Oh how lucky you are to have such a wonderful collection! I love your use of the little decal to dress up a plain crock.
ReplyDeleteI am still awaiting that magical junkin' moment of stumbling across an English marmalade jar. I have a couple of pieces of antique English advertising ironstone but not a crock.
I absolutely love the look of lavender in crocks. I plan fill my big crock in the dining room with lavender or peonies soon.
Beautiful ideas here!
I love crocks as well, Linda, and I love your cheerful vignettes. How good it is that we still have flowers and blogs and blogging friends to keep us sane.

Thank you, Emily! Crocks are such wonderful pieces for decorating!
DeleteI love the crocks. I collect ironstone and milk glass but rarely put out the milk glass since the move. Love your looks of Spring.
